How to convert Word to PDF and check the layout

Convert DOCX to PDF in your browser, check fonts and page breaks, and retry a failed file while keeping successful results.

Open tools and choose Word to PDF →

1. Prepare a DOCX document

Use a .docx file. This converter does not support legacy .doc files; save them as DOCX in the original application first. Keep a copy and confirm the document opens normally. For important documents, note the page count and essential sections so you can compare the converted result.

2. Convert in your browser

Open OfficeToPDF, choose Word and select your DOCX files. Choose the PDF colour option you need. When converting several files, review the automatic download setting before starting. Select Tukar kepada PDF and watch the status for each file. Download successful PDFs individually or use a ZIP to collect the available results.

3. Check the layout afterwards

Complex layouts, fonts, floating images and page breaks can differ from the source application. Check headings, tables, margins, page numbers and signatures. A successful conversion does not guarantee exact formatting. If print accuracy is critical and the layout differs, compare the result with a PDF exported directly from the original application.

4. When one file fails

Read the filename and error message in its results row. A damaged document or incorrect format may need repair or resaving first. Use the retry button for that file; other PDFs that have already succeeded can be kept. If you cancel a long conversion, wait for the cancelled status before retrying or switching tools.

5. Before sharing

Open the PDF on another device if possible. Check for blank pages and cropped images. Use a clear filename so the recipient can recognise it. Text inside images does not automatically become searchable text; use OCR if your source is a scan. Conversion runs in the browser, and you need to save the result yourself before leaving.
