1. Check the actual limit first

Read the form or recipient instructions: each attachment may have a different limit. Do not assume every Malaysian portal requires 500 KB or 1 MB. Check the accepted format, page count and colour requirements too. Keep the original before attempting compression.

2. Compress with OfficeToPDF

Open the PDF tools, choose Mampat PDF and select your file. Choose a suitable target size or enter a custom target. Select Proses fail and wait for processing to finish. Compare the original and result sizes before downloading. To stop, use Cancel and allow the current processing step to stop safely.

3. When the result is still too large

A target is not a guarantee. Already compressed PDFs and unsupported image types may not shrink. The tool can return the original when the result is not smaller. Try reducing the dimensions or quality of the source images before creating a new PDF. Remove unnecessary pages only when the recipient permits it.

4. Inspect the result before sending

Open the PDF and zoom in on names, numbers, stamps and small print. Check that every required page is present and in order. If details are blurred, use higher quality even if that increases the size. If the limit cannot be met while keeping the document readable, check alternatives with the recipient instead of submitting an unreadable document.

5. Common questions

Can any PDF become 500 KB? No: the final size depends on its contents and page count. Is the document uploaded for compression? This OfficeToPDF tool processes it in the browser on your device. Save the result before closing the page. Use synthetic documents when recording a demonstration so personal details do not appear in your video.
